The Skinny Project (aka The Tattoo Project) has wrapped up for Postgreen Homes in East Kensington. This was a fun one, getting to work with a local artist who silk screened by hand the exterior cladding panels that wrap these homes to look like clouds when you stand back about 50 yards from the project. Take a gander and let us know your thoughts.
We just finished up the 2.5 Beta House for Postgreen Homes and Mr. Sam Oberter shot some nice final images of this home, complete with owners in their Triumph motorcycle and sidecar. We’re pretty proud of hitting the air sealing target for the strict German Passive House standard on this home. The consultants tell us if someone built a home next this house in the empty lot and covered the party wall entirely, this would technically be the first Passive House in Philly. Not too bad for a few months of hard work.
We’re taking on our first commercial office fit-out for some swell guys at a growing web development company – Brolik. Our friend, Jeb Brookman, designed the space for them through his small firm – Manifest AD. Looking forward to getting started on transforming this space and making a new home for Brolik!
So, about a year after we launched this construction company, we decided to make up some t-shirts and shoot this high quality video. Enjoy.
These two lucky homeowners took advantage of Federal and State solar PV rebates to get near net zero energy bills and a less than 5 year payback on their investment. Not a bad view either.
