The company specializes in managing costs and executing details on projects with ambitious design and energy efficiency goals as shown most clearly in their work on the Skinny Project by Postgreen Homes.
Chuck Weiss, project manager for Hybrid Construction, has over 25 years of experience in the building industry. He has built over 600 homes including 14 LEED projects. His experience ranges from volume production builds to high-end architect designed custom homes. Chuck has already proven himself with Hybrid on a 4 month LEED Platinum build of 3 homes on a tight Postgreen budget.
The construction company will offer services for new construction, renovation and design/build. For projects that require it, Hybrid has growing list of architect partners including Interface Studio Architects, the designers behind the 100k House Project and all other Postgreen Homes work. Hybrid will also gladly work with any architect to adjust designs for better performance and lower costs while respecting the overall intent of the project.
Hybrid Construction has certain standards of construction on which it will not compromise. The company is committed to building everything to a minimum of Energy Star qualification and has further requirements in terms of insulation, windows and other construction details. Owners and developers interested in cutting corners on construction are not likely to be Hybrid clients. The company is only interested in projects which offer at least a minimum level of respect to buyers, owners and the environment.
Hybrid Construction is prepared to bid on designed projects or to become a part of a project team from the very beginning.
